For me the mix between nature and city is simply the perfect union for a city, and that’s why I decided to come to Cape Town so many times because it’s the only place in the world, where you can go walking to climb a mountain and then take a coffee in a local super trendy. It unites my two souls, nature and social life. So before moving here for a few months here in Cape Town. I started following the guys from Atlantic Outlook on Instagram, and I put it in my to-do list of things to do surely in Cape Town. Let’s experience the kayaking in Cape Town.
Kayaking in Cape Town
Atlantic Outlook is managed by two very nice guys and very kind Tom and Jordan. I did the tour with Jordan, and I must say that he is a guy passionate about the sea and what he does. Immediately puts you in a good mood and makes you experience ‘experience a thousand. Continue reading: THE BEST AND BEAUTIFUL BEACHES IN BALI
There are 3 tours in a day, at 7 am, at 9.30 am, and at sunset, I would say that everyone is different and beautiful at the same time, perhaps the one with the most overwhelming light is sunset, but the one where you enjoy the most sun is definitely that of 9.30 in which the temperature is perfect. I advise you to do more than one if you have time, as I will do.
The Atlantic Outlook kayaks are carbon and two-seater, completely different from those you have seen to date in the various beaches or rivers. They are solid, stable and very light, they are made for the ocean so if you are wondering if you “coat” the answer is no and you will not get wet entirely, just a few sketches. Anyway, the Atlantic Ocean is cold, so I suggest you wear a lycra t-shirt or a t-shirt and if you do that at sunset also a sweatshirt.
Outlook and beauty of Kayaking in Cape Town
Atlantic Outlook is located in the Waterfront area, and you get up to Sea Point with the kayak a very short walk, but that allows you to have a wonderful view of the city, with its spectacular Table Mountain and Lion’s Head. What is even more spectacular is that just off Sea Point, there is a huge group of dolphins that we meet say 90% of the outputs, and often, even in summer, you can see whales. That part of the ocean is full of animals; often there are penguins, I saw a seal and a moonfish, the one that usually in Bali is called Mola Mola, which is also my favorite fish. Here are little ones and you see them because they come to the surface to warm themselves in the sun, it was beautiful.
Super recommended experience, and a wonderful way to enjoy the city and the sun with kayaking in Cape Town. You may also read: http://dotenvironment.net/do-you-need-to-book-through-a-travel-site-or-hotel-website/
