Liverpool, UK

Famed by the Beatles, one city in the UK that you have to put on your list is Liverpool. Richly seeped in culture, this city has many interesting attractions, such as the Beatles Statue on Pier Head and ferry tours across the Mersey.

Galway, Ireland

You could start your travels in Ireland with a visit to Galway. This city was voted the joint European Capital of Culture for 2020. A visit to the Galway City Museum is a must, where you can learn about the Easter Rising in 1916. While you are here, you can pick up some authentic St Patricks Day gifts for your loved ones at home.

London, UK

This is an obvious choice for any city getaway. You can visit one of the many structural masterpieces, like The Shard on London Bridge street or the London Eye for a panoramic view across the city.

Dublin, Ireland

Another Irish city that you have to visit is Dublin. A hot spot for hen and stag events, this city is full to the brim with fun! Visit the famous Temple Bar and sample Irish Whiskies at the Whisky Museum. Perhaps you’ll take home a St Patricks day gift or two!

Southampton, UK

This coastal city has been made famous by the Titanic disaster in 1912. You can even visit The Grapes pub, which would have been frequented by the seamen and boasts signage that hasn’t been changed since 1912. The movie was partially filmed at this location, providing a backdrop to a scene in the film.

The Ring of Kerry

Finally, no visit to the Emerald Isle would be complete without a trip around the Ring of Kerry. You can visit towns that have a wide range of St Patricks Day gifts for authentic souvenirs to take home. Take in the other-worldly scenery of the west coast as you travel around the Ring of Kerry and marvel at the beautiful views.

Wherever you choose to visit in the UK or Ireland, you will not be disappointed with the array of wonderful scenery and activities that these places have to offer.
