Clearing out the wardrobe for spring

At the moment we cannot go out anywhere or do a great deal. This is hard but better times will come and the key to getting through it is to keep as busy as possible whilst in the home. Sow hy not start tackling those annoying jobs that you have been putting off for ages?

One of these jobs that we all dread but needs to be done from time to time is a wardrobe clear out. Most of us are guilty of keeping clothes stashed away that we no longer wear, that have seen better days or have sometimes never been worn (some of those what was I thinking purchases!)

The key to this is to really be brutal but also have a reward at the end of it – for example, there may be some Calvin Klein menswear that you have your eye on – make this the thing that you reward yourself with when you have cleared that wardrobe out!

The first thing that you need to do is get everything out – it is going to get worse before it gets better! This way you can critically assess each item and if it is something that is in good condition that you no longer wear you can donate it to charity. If it is not in good condition, you can recycle clothing so put this in a recycling bag.

Once you are done you will then only have items in the wardrobe that you actually wear making choosing clothes a lot easier!
