Although this Christmas may be a little different to the usual seasonal get togethers, there is still plenty that we can enjoy. At this time of the year, it is good to enjoy nature and the peace of the countryside, so wrap up warm in your new Farah menswear from EJ Menswear and get out and enjoy the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.
Here are some of the most scenic walking spots in the county…
The River Wye – On the Herefordshire and Monmouthshire border you will find some spectacular walking routes in the west of the county. The river wye is famous for its beautiful walks, and also includes Symonds Yat where you might even be lucky enough to see the peregrine falcons that roost in the cliffs here.
Wotton Under Edge – For both stunning views across the Cotswolds as well as the mysterious haunted pub the Ram Inn, then this is the walking spot for you! There are many beautiful walking trails to take through the area and there is plenty of history in the area to explore too.
The Forest of Dean – This ancient woodland has been here for thousands of years and as well as being beautiful is full of history, from the Romans to the local freeminers. Visit the Dean Heritage Centre to find out more about the local area, and head to the Sculpture trail for a woodland walk with a difference.
